Entering External dimensions

Q: Every time I draw up a conservatory I put in the extermal dimensions ie. 3000 x 3000 and it will alter it to 3060 on projection and 3060 on width.  Why does it do this, how do I get it to detail my intended size?

A: ComfortableConservatories needs the sizes to be put in as either to the external eavesbeam edge for external dimensions or to the internal eavesbeam edge for internal dimensions.

This means that you have to make the deduction at the beginning from your actual external brick sizes and enter to the system the dimensions to the external edges of your eaves beam (When working to external brickwork sizes).

When the dimensions are entered correctly as above, the baseplans etc will show you the external brickwork dimensions correctly. Provided that you have:

  • Entered the correct external frame size
  • Have your brick sizes set up correctly
  • Have chosen the correct reports, e.g. in this instance you would select Baseplan External or equivalent.
