Common Dongle Problems
ID #1073
Trying to delete redundant orders using the OPTIONS route. Everything fine until the final enter. Balloon comes up 'Overflow in Module Clearord at address 0E2F:125C Press any key to return to desktop' Any answers?
This error usually means that your orders have become corrupt. This often means that at some point a user has entered one of the illegal characters set out in the documentation (Page 16 of the Manual installed with the software), which are:
" \ / [ ] : * | + = ; , . ? < > space
The only resolution for corrupted orders is to do a clean install of the software.
To do a clean install you must do the following:
- Backup any images or logos that you have previously added to the directory structure of the software.
- Uninstall the software form its uninstall link in your start menu, or using the Windows 'Add Remove Programs' feature.
- Only after completing the above you must delete this folder from your computer: c:\calcon
- Re-install the software from the CD you were provided with when you purchased the software.
Note:
The ComfortableConservatories software which was designed to replace Digital Conservatories do not have the same method for saving orders so do not have the same problem as outline above.
