ComfortableConservatories
How do I backup my ComfortableConservatories DATA?
To back up your current ComfortableConservatories DATA do the following:
-
Load 'Windows Explorer'
\Start Menu\All Programs\Accessories\Windows Explorer -
Within the left-hand side window of windows explorer, navigate to this location:
C:\comfortable\Conservatories -
Inside the C:\comfortable\Conservatories folder you will see a 'DATA' folder on the right-hand side of the screen. Move your mouse pointer over this folder and press your right mouse button.
-
On the menu that now appears, left click on the COPY option.
-
Now navigate to another drive, portable drive or different location and then press your right-mouse button and select PASTE. This will make a 'Copy' of your 'DATA' folder too the new location.
Please
note:
Ideally it would be best to copy this folder to either a
different PC, a portable drive or even better, burn
backups of this folder to DVD and keep in a separate office. If
the PC with the software installed were to have Hard drive failure or
another problem, at least you would be able to install the software
on a different PC and then copy your data back over afterwards.
