Dongle Error code 01, what does it mean?
Dongle Error code 01 is displayed when the dongle believes that the system date and time is wrong, on the computer it is plugged in to.
Resolution:
- Take out the dongle
- Set your computers date and time correctly (you can access this by double-clicking on the clock shown on the taskbar).
- Restart your PC
- Plug the dongle back in and make sure you let windows find it (you will either be told it has on-screen or the dongle will light up)
